In general, in the Netherlands, there is a reduced salary rate for individuals under 21 in the workforce to encourage their employment and help them enter the job market. While it doesn't apply to all companies, this is done to incentivize employers to hire young people and recognize that they often have less experience and financial responsibilities than more experienced workers.

Documentation and Work Permits

A BSN (Burger Service Nummer) is like a social security number. It is a mandatory personal identification number used for administrative and tax matters, such as health insurance, tax returns, or pension.

You don't have to worry about obtaining it as we take care of that. We will schedule an appointment at a BSN office and assist you in the process of obtaining your BSN. To obtain it, it's important that your documents (passport or Dutch citizen card) are original, valid, and in proper condition.

The validity of a social security number or personal identification number is usually for life. This means that the number itself does not expire. You receive a personal identification number only once. Even if you reside (or move) outside the Netherlands or return to the Netherlands from abroad.

Accommodation

- Yes, we offer the possibility to organize your accommodation in the Netherlands through Talent Hunter Netherlands.

- All our housing complies with the standards of Stichting Normering Flexwonen. This means that if you choose accommodation through us, you will be in a place that meets the safety requirements and standards set by the Dutch government. This way, we ensure the quality of housing for our workers.

We also care that you live in a safe, quiet, and clean environment, so we have rules in the housing that everyone must follow.

- Yes, you must pay for the room you have. Costs may vary depending on whether it is a double, single room, or a studio. These costs will be deducted from your weekly salary every Friday, and you will start paying as soon as you start working. Remember that everything is included in these costs, such as internet, water, electricity, gas, etc. You can inquire about prices with our team via email, WhatsApp, or during the interview.

- Yes, you can live in any other accommodation you find on your own. However, transportation is not guaranteed.

You will live with other workers. If you have a double room, you will share a room with only one person of the same gender. We have studios or apartments and also single rooms, but they depend on availability. People planning to stay for a longer time and performing well at work will have priority to occupy these. Unlike many agencies that offer accommodation in large hotels or apartment complexes, our housing accommodates a limited number of people, promoting a more personalized environment.

It all depends on availability, but we always do our best to place people who come together in the same accommodation.
We always try to find a good match with the people already living there. Couples are always placed in a double room.

Those who prove to be good employees and intend to stay for a long period will have priority when a two-person apartment or family unit becomes available. However, even in this case, it's not always possible to find private housing immediately, but over time, it's possible.
Private apartments and studios may have variable costs, and we will discuss with you what the costs will be when one becomes available.

If the alarm is triggered or if it is tampered with, removed, or broken, this has financial and disciplinary consequences within the company.

For proper and comfortable coexistence for all accommodation residents, it must always be well-maintained and clean.
In case the house is dirty and there have been 2 cleaning notices.
We will hire a cleaning person with a minimum cost of €50 weekly until there is a change in the situation by the residents.

Yes, it's possible depending on availability, circumstances, and the situation. You should communicate this to your coordinator as soon as possible, and they will do their best to make the most appropriate change for you.

The ABU-CAO for temporary workers of employment agencies includes a regulation that allows exchanging gross salary for tax-free allowances and provisions for the so-called extraterritorial costs. These are additional costs (e.g., for accommodation) incurred by temporary agency workers who come from another country to work in the Netherlands (temporarily). This discount varies weekly and is applied directly to your salary, usually ranging from 10% - 30% depending on your salary, overtime, sector, and nationality, and is applied to the total accommodation cost.
Note that this regulation no longer applies when you register as RNI (Non-Resident Registration) in the municipality of the Netherlands.

Transportation

1. If the accommodation is less than 10 km from work, you can rent a bicycle available at the agency.
2. Most companies will cover the cost of transportation. In case they don't, the agency can offer transportation at a weekly cost.
3. If you have a valid European driving license, a company vehicle can be provided for commuting. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to pick up and drop off workers from the same company during your working hours, and you will be compensated.

You cannot use a company car for personal matters. Except in case of an emergency or a medical appointment or other necessary situations, you can always consult us to obtain permission.

You are responsible for the cost of the fine and, consequently, other expenses due to improper care or maintenance. Regarding cleanliness, it is your responsibility to keep the car clean on the inside. Smoking is prohibited, and it is advised not to eat or drink in the car. Periodically, the company takes care of cleaning the car inside and out free of charge.

The company covers the cost of car maintenance. However, it is always necessary to notify the company as soon as possible if the car displays a warning light.

If you have your own car here, you can use it, and depending on the distance, you will receive compensation per kilometer. If you want to bring your own car to the Netherlands, for example, from Spain, that is also possible.
However, you should be aware that you are only allowed to drive it here for a maximum of 6 months. If you change your personal registration to an address in the Netherlands, you must also register your car with the Dutch car registry (RDW). Otherwise, you will not be allowed to drive.

Social Security and Health System

- Health insurance is mandatory for all residents and workers. We offer collective health insurance for our employees.

For visits, if your insurance has a travel policy, yes, you can. However, you need Dutch health insurance to be able to work.

Every Friday, the cost is deducted from your paycheck.

Emergency care is covered worldwide.

You can call and make an appointment at our Health Center. You can ask your coordinator for the number and call the office. Depending on your case and emergency, your coordinator will help you arrange an appointment and may even accompany you to the doctor if necessary. Always remember to notify that you are sick through the mobile application and to your coordinator to receive the necessary assistance.

Salaries and Working Conditions

Your salary will depend on the vacancy you work in and will be subject to deductions for accommodation and health insurance. Note that the salaries offered on the website are gross. However, all your earnings will be in compliance with the regulations of the sector and the government of the Netherlands.

At Talent Hunter Netherlands, we pay the salary every Friday. When you start working, you don't need to pay for accommodation in the first two weeks. This means that in the first two weeks of work, you will not be charged for accommodation. However, starting from the third week, you will begin to pay for accommodation, and that cost will be deducted from your salary every Friday. If you decide to stop working for the company, either because you are dismissed or because you decide to leave, the accommodation cost for the first two weeks of work will be deducted before you receive your last salary.
Example: Sara arrives on the 7th, Thursday. And she will start working on Monday, the 11th. She wouldn't receive her salary during the first two weeks, but she wouldn't pay for accommodation either. On the 29th, Friday, she would receive her first salary for that week with only the deduction of that week's accommodation, and so on every week. After a year and a half, Sara is offered a permanent contract and ends the contract with us, so now she would receive the sum of her first two weeks on the next Friday and the deduction of all other expenses (accommodation, health insurance, etc.

Normally, salaries are received every Friday weekly. However, if you prefer, we can send the salary every 4 weeks.

You will be paid by transfer to a bank account always in your name.

No, it is not necessary. You can have a European bank account or an online bank. But if you would like to open one in the Netherlands, we can assist in the opening process.

We recommend that you check your payslip weekly to ensure all your working hours are correct. If you believe there is an error in your salary, you can contact our office, and we can resolve it together. We will be happy to help and make corrections if necessary.

Only new workers can receive an advance through our agency. However, this is only possible when they have worked for more than a week and are waiting for their first salary.
We allow a maximum of 75 euros for a full workweek of 40 hours.
